9/10/2010 9/12/2010 Minot Western Plains Opera Western Plains Opera presents "La Traviata" by Verdi Sept. 10 and Sept. 12 in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at Minot State University with performances set for 7:30 p.m. Friday and a 3 p.m. matinee Sunday. Tickets range $12 t0 $25 depending on seating.

9/11/2010 9/11/2010 Minot Minot Area Council of the Arts Gala USO Salute The annual Minot Area Council of the Arts Gala USO Salute is set to begin at 5 p.m. Sept 11 in the Dakota Territory Air Musuem. The program features live music, drama, singers, vocal groups, an art auction, period uniforms, accoutrements,weaponry and military vehicles. There will be a salute to all branches of the armed forces featuring vignettes from military life, with songs significant to periods in American military history. Admission is $30. The public is invited to participate by wearing vintage attire, civilian or military from any era.

9/20/2010 3/28/2011 Minot 2010-2011 International Artist Series Celtic Blaze opens the 2010-11 International Artist Series with a performance at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in Minot State University's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. The following concert dates are: Oct. 23 - John Davidson, Nov 23 - Quartetto Gelato, March 1 - Cristiana Pegoraro, March 28 - Jim Witter. All concerts are at 7:30 p.m. in MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

9/23/2010 9/27/2010 Minot "Peter Pan" The Minot Areaa Theatrical Society presents its annual children's production "Peter Pan", directed by Les Younger, Sept. 23-27 in the Vegas Motel. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens for shows starting at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

9/25/2010 Minot Kiwanis Pancake Day Join us for our 51st Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day on Saturday, September 25th, 2010. All you can eat pancakes will be served from 7am-2pm. The cost is $5 in advance or $6 at the door. Children under age 6 eat for free. All proceeds go to fund area youth programs including local Key Clubs, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Minot High and Bishop Ryan After Prom Parties, Companions for Children, Girls State, Boys State, International Music Camp, Dream Catchers and others.
